Hello everyone, my name is Fred
Kleinert and I am the newly appointed Governor of Dist.
#3. Just to tell you a little about myself, my
wife and I retired in June of 2006 and moved to our home
in southern Roscommon County. I have been a member of
M.B.H. for approximately 25yrs. My favorite game
animal to hunt are bears, I would rather hunt bears with
stick and string than deer. I am also a member of
one of our affiliated clubs, The Houghton Lake
Sportsmen’s Club as well as several other hunting
organizations.
Our goal as members of Dist. #3
will be to increase membership, develop a network of Lt.
Governors and Co. Reps. and increase participation by
the general membership of Dist. #3. This is no
small item but can be accomplished by
getting people involved. What I am looking
for are volunteers for Lt. Govs. and Co. Reps. from each

I am asking you to become involved
in M.B.H. and lend a hand in shaping our future as
Michigan Bow hunters. If I don’t hear from each
and every one of you I will be calling, emailing and
