Mud,
sweat and tears. That’s is how I’ve been shooting lately.
Stopped by at Frankenmuth Archers one Thursday evening in
March and shot with the Boys and Girls up that way. While I
was there I was schooled again on how to shoot the bow, the
learning never stops.
The
district will be continuing the district shoots again this
month. The first
shoot at Tomahawk Archers club in Temperance on March 14th
went better than last year. The weather was better and
so was the turn out. They have a great 30 target course set
up that everyone will like. If you have not been to Tomahawk
you have missed out. They have monthly shoots with their 2D
painted targets. We will keep you going at the next venue,
Land-O-Lakes Bowmen in Fenton, for their shoot on April 18th.
Call Pat @ (810) 629-8927 for directions. This ‘Northern
District Nine’ event will be a 35 Rinehart target shoot. I
hear LOL has a new heard of animals so this shoot should be
special. The final shoot will be held at Washtenaw
Sportsmen’s Club near
Ann Arbor. Washtenaw has quite a bit
to offer also. Call Jack @ (734) 276-4597 for more
information on Washtenaw. This year’s door prizes are a
couple of ladder stands so get to one of these remaining
shoots to get in the drawing. Thanks to all who helped out
District 10 at Outdoorama again this year.
As always, support your local clubs and archery
shops. See you out there shooting your bow!
